In 1956 (then surrounded by orange groves) George and Kiku Maye & Masami and Sumi Mayeda founded this incredible nursery. Today the nursery is co-managed by Ted Mayeda and his sister, Dale.
M&M has a large selection of arbors, fountains, gazebos, garden gates, and other garden décor displayed throughout the nursery. They also have a great selection of whimsical garden related gifts. |

Shortly after entering the nursery you will notice some truly beautiful and inspiring display gardens. It won’t be long before you find yourself immersed in this exceptionally relaxing atmosphere, with pathways that lead to secluded garden displays and the tranquil sound of splashing water from one of their many fountains. |

Keep an eye open for fairies… Beverly Turner, M&M’s head designer and fairyscaper, designs miniature landscapes using a large selection of diminutive trees, compact flowering plants and ground covers. Her designs incorporate gazebos, arbors, fencing, bird houses, furniture, resin fish ponds, bridges and a large selection of fairies. In one of the display planters she has designed a larger fairy garden which includes a water mill feeding a stream. |

An off shoot of the fairy gardens are the mermaid gardens. By using different succulents Beverly has recreated coral reefs, which she adds shells, fish, sea mammals, and mermaids.
This is one nursery you will want to take some extra time to explore. |
